FCB in Women Development initiatives
Partnering with the WOMEN ENTERPRISE FUND
As a proof of our commitment to support the women of our country, we recently partnered with the Women Enterprise Fund (WEF).
We believe that empowering women is equivalent to empowering the nation. WEF was established to provide alternative financial services to women who are excluded from the formal banking sectors.
Through this partnership with WEF, we will be providing a number of innovative Sharia compliant microfinance products to women groups via our extensive branch network within the country.
DEDICATED SERVICES TO OUR FEMALE CLIENTELE
We at FCB strongly believe that development of women is the development of the nation. It is in recognition of this fact that we embarked on different training and skill development programs for ladies at our different branches. Some of the training programs conducted were geared towards uplifting the entrepreneurship skills of the ladies to assist potential women entrepreneurs to start new enterprises professionally while some workshops were conducted to guide existing women entrepreneurs to improve their workings and modernize their existing operations. Other workshops were conducted to provide general knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic banking.
